Pre-Authorisation Consultant (Medical Aid Company)

A reputable Medical Aid based in Pretoria is seeking a strong Registered Nurse who is keen to start their career in the Managed Healthcare industry.
**Requirements**:
- SANC Registered Nurse
- ICU / Theatre trained (Advantage)
- ER/Trauma experience
- A minimum of 5 years as a Nursing Practitioner
- Excellent clinical knowledge
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Team Player
- Comfortable working office hours (Mon-Friday) - No weekends, no shifts
- Comfortable working as a Call Centre Consultant, in a Call Centre environment
- Credit and Criminal Clear
- South African born Citizen
**Duties**:
- Providing authorisation for clinical procedures and/or hospitalization as per the Member option plan and Scheme rules
- Understanding and having the knowledge for the various clinical procedures conducted in and outside of hospital/clinical settings
- Being able to confirm available member benefits
