Product Manager - Practice Management Applications

**Role description**
The Product Manager is responsible for the vision and profitability of a product line. This role works
Closely with various teams to make business decisions and create product strategies that ensure the
Company’s long-term sustainability. Specific functions of the role include understanding the South
Africa healthcare billing methodologies and processes for both Dental and Medical PMAs.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill product gaps and
- generate innovative ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive
Growth
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
- Develop strategies for data migration
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal

- Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other
Product management team members
- Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and
That the message is effectively conveyed
- Function as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
- Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and
Services
**Minimum Requirements**
- MS/BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
- 3 - 5 years’ experience as a Product Manager or as an associate Product Manager
- Experience in Ambulatory Information systems (AIS) products and particularly in medical and
Dental billing PMAs
- Proven history of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate
Recommendations to executive management
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or first-hand experience in software
Development and web technologies
- Demonstrated ability of collaborating effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix
Organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in using JIRA, GITLAB, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Office
Collaboration tools

**Salary**:
R70,000.00 - R80,000.00 per month
