PRODUCTION ADMINISTRATOR
WHALE ROCK FARM, HERMANUS
Aqunion (Pty) Ltd is a dynamic, growing company that farms South African abalone for the Asian market. The company currently has two farms and a processing facility in the Overberg Region. We have a position available within our Whale Rock Farm for a self-driven and competent Production Administrator, to be based in Hermanus.
The primary purpose of the position
Key Performance Areas for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Administration and Data Management
- Working with the Production Budget
- Purchasing of stock and processing invoices
- Make use of various communication channels and communicating with suppliers
- General Adhoc duties as required by management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 with relevant Tertiary Qualifications (e.G. Office Administration)
- 2 years’ experience in administration or similar role.
- Fluency in English:
Communicate effectively and write professionally
- Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Office / G-Suite at intermediate level.
- Aquaculture experience will be beneficial
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- A valid driver’s license would be advantageous
