Production Manager (Sheet Metal Fabrication) - East

Our client is a manufacturer of top quality industrial storage furniture.
Reporting to the CEO, You will be responsible or:
- Providing effective supervision and coaching to production employees
- Production planning
- Calculating material requirements
- Heading up the health &
safety team in the factory
- Managing multiple projects
- Doing spot checks on bending sizes and punching quality
- Ensuring maintenance teams focus on preventative maintenance
- Implementing continuous improvement in the factory
- Writing SOP’s as and when required
**Qualifications**:
- Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or Production Management qualification
**Skills**:
- 7 - 10 years' production management experience
- Sound knowledge of CO2 welding, roll forming &
sheet metal fabrication
- Strong technical and managerial skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Project management experience
- First-time right mindset
- Enthusiastic and a go-getter attitude
**Salary / Package**:
R540K - R660K CTC per annum
