Professional Officer - Project Management Office
**Requirements**:
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- Up to 5 years relevant experience.
- Knowledge of legislation applicable to Local Government
As well as Council policies, processes and procedures
Would be an advantage.
- Computer literate MS office, SAP.
- Valid code EB driver’s licence
- Own vehicle preferable
- NOTE:
Applicants will be required to work outside of normal
Working hours if and when required
Key Performance Areas
- Co-ordinates the processes and activities related to the formulation
And management of the Tender/Bid process for the Recreation and
Parks Department
- Conduct market research and assist with tender specification
Development.
- Provide logístical and administrative support to project managers
Responsible for tender development.
- Preparing and assisting with the compilation of Tender/Bid
Documents
And undertake quality control checks to ensure alignment with
Supply
Chain Management Policies, Systems and Procedures.
- Assist with preparation of relevant reports relating to tender
Processes and demand plan management
- Coordinating and facilitating the processes and activities of
Operational
Term tenders with SCM and other roleplayers
- Analysing/collating financial information &
relevant data and
Statistics
- Coordinates and facilitates all relevant processes and activities for
The implementation of contracts
- Coordinates the processes and activities for the performance review
Of contracts
- Project manages operational term tenders
- Ensures the required administrative functions and systems are
