Requirements
- First Degree or BTech (Quantity Surveying/Project
Management/Stakeholder Engagement or related) Up to 5 years’
Relevant experience
Surveying Professions Act of 1970 advantageous
- Valid Code B driver’s license
Key Performance Areas
- Performing Quantity Surveyor &
Project Manager Functions with
Community facilitation, project planning implementation till closing of
Projects.
- Facilitating of projects carrying out supervising preliminary
Investigations,
Drawing up detailed project plans and schedules.
- Estimating budgets for projects, managing projects throughout their
Course monitoring expenditure, resources and risks.
- Provide Quantity surveying &
Projects Management expertise with a
Range of facilitation activities during the implementation of specific
Maintenance and upgrades projects in the region.
- Creating facilitation mechanisms to enable adequate and
Effective
Communication with all stakeholders.
- Represent project manager at site meetings on various projects.
- Arrange and attend site inspections with stakeholder groups on
Participation issues.
- Prepare specifications and preparing tender documents and assist
The SPO Quantity Surveyor with a range of Quantity Surveying
Activities during the implementation of specific Maintenance and
Upgrade project in the region.
- Prepare minutes and reports of project meetings, taking and
Compilation of meeting minutes.
- Investigating new and standard techniques with CRU maintenance
&
Upgrade projects, Engineering &
building CRU disciplines.
- Leasing and communicating with all stakeholders regarding project
Information and updates.
- Development and training of technical staff in key business
Processes and procedures relating to project and general
Administration.
