ICU/ Critical Care Registered Nurse - Johannesburg
Our client, a private, independent and established hospital in Johannesburg is looking to recruit a trained, ICU registered nurse for permanent placement.
The state-of-the-art private hospital offers beautiful facilities and modern theatres which are comprehensively equipped allowing most types of surgical procedures. This patient focused, friendly hospital environment strives to provide a superior standard of medical care.
The main purpose of the job is to ensure that the ICU ward conforms to the highest standards of operation. As an ICU Nurse you will deliver safe compassionate clinical care and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve best practice patient outcomes and ensure the highest quality of services are provided to all participating doctors, patients and staff.
**Requirements**:
- Registered Nurse
- Post Basic Diploma in Critical Care Nursing Science or experience would be an added advantage
- Private hospital experience would be an added advantage
- Proof of registration with the S.A.N.C. and proof of personal indemnity is required
- Ability to maintain excellent standards and service levels
- Customer service focus
- Integrity and willing to work flexible hours
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (ability to speak and write English and Afrikaans) other languages would be an added advantage.
- Mature personality with abilities to assist with patients in a courteous and polite manner.
- To be punctual and reliable.
- To be at all times neat and tidy in dress code.
- To be able to work as part of a team and to assist where necessary.
- Previous work experience in a surgical ward would be an added advantage.
**Salary**:
R30,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month

Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
License/Certification:
- Nursing Council registration (preferred)
