IKhokha is looking for a Retail Trainer to be based in Durban.
This role would suit someone who is a confident and passionate trainer, with an eye for detail and excellent communication skills. You should love the open road too. Travel is a core component of this role. The Retail Trainer will be responsible to oversee 60 retail stores in the following provinces:
KZN, Mpumalanga and Eastern Cape.
**So, what will you do?**
You will train instore sales agents within a specific retail channel across 60 stores and three provinces.
You will manage iKhokha merchandising instore &
build a strong relationships with instore sales teams and decision makers.
**Deal Breakers**
At least 3 years sales experience of which 1 year must be servicing retail channels.
University degree/ Diploma in Marketing, Sales or relevant majors.
Must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle.
Proficient in English and other South African Languages
Has a strong background in consumer electronics or tech products.
Strong analytical ability.
Organizational and planning ability.
Solutions oriented and excellent team-worker.
A confident and assertive communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
Creative and innovative in approach to problem solving.
**What would you be responsible for?**
You will be responsible for the overall Territory management of 60 retail stores across three provinces.
Responsible for driving sales through retail stores, accurate merchandising and maintaining relationships within your territory.
Ensuring product visibility and accessibility for end consumers within our retail channel partner stores.
Liaising with in-store sales agents/consultants to drive promotional activity, competitions, and incentives.
Develop and implement in-store training programs for Retail channels to optimise sales.
Foster relationship building with instore teams in your regions.
Analyse market insights to determine industry and customer trends and report back to Management on potential opportunities and optimisation.
Research and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Collect competitor information and provide feedback reports to management on insights gathered in your region.
