Sales Executive - Vehicle Tracking and Fleet Management Solutions
TerraMar are a provider of industry-leading vehicle tracking and fleet management solutions, committed to supporting our customers run safer, more sustainable, more efficient fleets. We are seeking to recruit a talented sales executive to sell our solutions to fleet operators across South Africa, including those operators engaged in cross-border journeys. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business by identifying and engaging prospective clients, understanding their needs, and selling our tailored solutions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prospect for new business and build a robust pipeline of potential clients, predominantly in the transportation and logistics sector.
- Develop proposals and sales presentations that speak to the client's specific requirements and challenges.
- Present and demonstrate our solutions effectively, showcasing the value proposition tailored to the client's business requirements.
- Collaborate with technical and support teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive responses to client inquiries.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals and onboarding new clients.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high retention and renewal rates.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and new products to effectively position our solutions.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in B2B sales. Experience selling into the South African fleet management and transportation sector is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, objection handling and closing skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite
- Willingness to travel within South Africa and potentially to neighbouring countries for client meetings.
- Valid driver's license and access to car (a vehicle will not be supplied in this role)
