**_ Position Purpose:
_**
- The incumbent contributes to the development, implementation and execution of the plant maintenance processes and
Works with business process owners in developing appropriate strategies, tactics and technology enablers for plant
- maintenance.
- Incumbents communicates SAP PM capabilities and possibilities to designated functional areas, while seeking ways to
Collaborate with IT members (the Architects, Business Analysts and Business Relationship Managers, in particular) to
- facilitate transitions.
**_ Position outputs:

- Understand client requirements, provide solutions and configure the system accordingly.
- Develop business functional specifications and technical specifications for all new developments.
- Effective working relationships with partners, IT/Business Analyst and other business teams.
- Research, identify and recommends industry best practices for solving business problems.
- Planning and executing SAP PM implementation and development activities.
- Analyse functional and technical needs;
identify gaps and alternative solutions relative to existing design.
- Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts/work. packages, anticipate/identify issues that inhibit the
Attainment of project goals and implement corrective actions.
- Data Migration using tools such as LSMW/BDC.
- Assist with SAP PM data mapping to other systems.
- Provide SAP PM second line support to the business.
- Perform system unit and integration testing.
**_ Qualifications &
Experience:
_**
- B/Degree or equivalent is required
- SAP PM Certified.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a SAP PM support environment.
- Minimum 8 years' SAP PM configuration and support.
**_ Competencies:
_**
Knowledge:
- Ability to analyse problems and provide clear recommendations.
- Knowledge of the SAP OSS.
- Hands on experience in configuration based on SAP best Practices
- Strong configuration hands on experience in Plant Maintenance;
including IMG.
- Sound knowledge in SAP PM transactional activities.
- Detailed knowledge of the SAP Plant maintenance master data, Maintenance notifications, Maintenance orders and
Preventive Maintenance including mobility.
- Hands on experience on SAP PM production support and Functional Testing
- Knowledge of the SAP SolMan ITSM.
