Perform installations as well as outline maintenance.
Must have outstanding time management skills and be able to manage installations
Complete reports and communicate daily with management
Should be able to work independently and with little supervision
Interface with both customers and internal employees.
Diagnose problems with exiting systems and making necessary repairs.
Install conduit
CCTV
Programming of analogue and IP systems
Fault finding on analogue and IP systems
Knowledge of IP switches
Knowledge of Routers
Knowledge of network
Wireless network setting up and configurations
Setting up of remote viewing on standard DVR and NVR
Access Control
General experience in Gallagher, Saflec, Impro
Experience with Morpho, Virdi fingerprint readers.
Experience installing and servicing Gate Motors, Centurion and Hansa
Experience installing and servicing Booms and Turnstiles
Programming access points
Ability to commission system
Fault finding on all levels
**Qualifications and Experience**:
Minimum 5 years’ experience
Matric
A+/N+ Qualifications
Electronic qualifications
System Certifications
Outstanding safety record and electrical installation experience
Previous CCTV experience is a plus
Experience installing and servicing Gate Motors, Centurion and Hansa an advantage
Experience installing and servicing Booms and Turnstiles
Estimating and Site survey
Outstanding Customer Service Skills
Collaboration skills are mandatory
English speaking and writing skills
Previous knowledge of security systems and CCTV
Must have knowledge of low voltage electricity
Ability to take initiative and achieve results.
