Job Description
My client in the Financial Services space is looking for a Senior Credit Risk Manager to join their team of professionals. The ideal individual to occupy this senior leadership role will be accountable for all aspects of credit risk, which includes ensuring that credit structure processes and solutions are effective.
This role is suitable for a go getter and a professional that has a passion for portfolio credit risk management unsecured Consumer and SME Credit portfolios.
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
Determining and setting the credit risk appetite level
Driving the credit process
Ensuring optimal credit cut-off strategies are in place
Ensuring the credit risk framework and related credit policies are appropriate
Implement and monitor credit limit increase anddecrease strategies
Ensure appropriate and accurate forecasting
Manage and control all compliance, mandatory and regulatory accountabilities
As you will need to be hands on responsible you will be expected to hit the ground running, therefore, extensive experience is essential.
The requirements:
Qualification:
A suitable post-graduate qualification
Completed Bachelor-s degree
Experience:
5- years
- experience in portfolio credit risk management
Extensive knowledge of the Banks Act, Basel, NCA and other regulatory requirements
Relevant experience in credit risk management in senior leadership roles
Skills Required:
Operational and business management skills
Results orientated
Relationships management skills
