Senior Payroll Officer

SMCSW is being delivered through a suite of contracts for the tunnels, stations, line-wide infrastructure and systems.We are currently recruiting a Senior Payroll Officer to manage the payroll of the growing wages workforce across the alignment.The Role Reporting into the HR Manager, you will initially work with an experienced Senior Payroll Advisor before transitioning into making the role your own.
Your responsibilities include Ensure all timesheets are received, correct and approved by appropriate managersAlign activity codes and finance costings in timesheet system, RoverProcess weekly pay in accordance with business timeframes and systemsRun weekly reports includingcosting and payrollRespond to all payroll queries in a timely manner About You As the Senior Payroll Advisor, you will come with proven experience in a similar payroll advisor capacity.
The successful applicant will have the following Experience with, and ability to, interpret and understand Enterprise AgreementsPrevious working experience using Preceda, Oracle and SAP is preferredUnderstanding of time sheet processes and statutory payments including super, Redundancy, LSL, payroll taxProven experience working in a fast-paced and demanding role.
