Requirements:
A relevant B degree within the Human Resources, Public Administration and Management or similar fields Up to five 5 years
- relevant experience required Sound knowledge and understanding of local government services and the HR environment as well as legislation applicable to Local Government, Council policies, processes and procedures Results-driven approach and proven track record of service delivery Advanced computer literacy skills including MS Office, specifically in Excel and the development of Pivots for data analysis;
and SAP Ability to interface at all levels across the organisation.
Key performance areas:
Managing workforce performance processes to ensure compliance to policy, corporate performance targets and optimal resourcing for service delivery and implementation of Directorate strategies and goals Providing strategic advice on policy, procedure and process implementation relating to time and attendance assessment andanalysis;
individual performance management IPM;
personal development plans PDP;
rewards and recognition;
declaration of interest to ensure compliance Advising on relevant employee relations legislation, policy and procedures to ensure compliance Facilitating the implementation of the education, training and development framework to ensure compliance, inclusive of the granting of internal and external bursaries and the development of a WSP for the Directorate Facilitating the analysis of information and the compilation of pivot reports and trends for reporting and the reporting on Directorate performance for Portfolio Committee, SDBIP and PDR dashboards and Mancom Managing human resources Stakeholder management and communication.
