Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Separation Manager to lead the process of separating a business unit or division from a larger organization. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the separation, including planning, execution, and communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a separation plan that meets the objectives of the organization
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute the separation plan
- Manage the timeline and budget for the separation process
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the separation, and develop contingency plans as needed
- Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and investors
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality throughout the process
- Manage the transition of employees, assets, and other resources from the parent organization to the new entity
- Provide guidance and support to employees during the separation process
- Ensure a smooth handover to the new entity and minimize disruption to business operations
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 7 years Engineering experience in similar environment Knowledge and experience with Inventor, AutoCAD, ERP, MS Office, DEM, Structural/Plant design software
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Spartan, Gauteng:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
