- Monthly Cost To Company (Market related, Negotiable)- A manufacturer of skincare products requires the above to perform and oversee all quality management systems, formulations and the production of a range of skincare products.
**Minimum requirements for the role**:
- Previous experience having worked within the personal care/cosmetic industry is preferred.
- The company is happy to look at a good formulation chemist or a Quality Control Manager who has worked within the pharmaceutical or food or related manufacturing markets.
- A broad understanding of personal care / cosmetics research and development process is preferred.
- Previous experience having done stability testing for cosmetic products is preferred.
- A good understanding of ISO 22716, good manufacturing process, is preferred.
- A basic cosmetic manufacturing understanding of the process of formulations and cosmetic R&
D laboratory experience is advantageous.
- Performing and overseeing all quality management systems, formulations and working closely with production in terms of a range of skincare products
- Preparing, mixing and dispensing products when necessary.
- Managing stock levels of raw materials and ordering new stock.
- Working closely and overseeing the planning of production based on finished goods stock requirements.
- Setting up, maintaining and driving the quality management system - ISO 22716.
- Formulating new products and reformulating existing products where necessary.
- Manufacturing trial batches as well as handling quality control of products.
