A position has become available in the Marketing Department at the Head Office, Cape Town for a Social Media Strategist.To manage and advise on best social media practices and establish each brand with a compelling social media presence that creates brand awareness, builds trust relationships, connects customer and brand and drives customer loyalty to ensures the achievement of business objectives and strategic goals.Educates the internal marketing department on valuable trend opportunities for brands in the social media space.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Tertiary qualification (degree, diploma or national certificate) and
- Min 5 years’ experience with deep expertise in social media strategies
- Must be passionate and curious about customers, social media and digital innovation
- Must stay on trend and in the know about the latest digital marketing strategies, innovations, and capabilities
- Ability to analyse data and extract relevant and actionable insights
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to form effective partnerships across cross-functional teams within the marketing department
- Sound social media landscape knowledge
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Excel)
- Restaurant experience/understanding of Franchise Operations advantageous
- Creative thinking skills

- Analytical skills to support decision making

- Excellent communication skills (Written, verbal and modern marketing platforms)

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**
General**
- Provision of cost-effective social media, content creation and influencer services that facilitate sustainable brand development and market share growth and enabling the achievement of strategic organisational objectives and targets
- Increased consumer and customer experience and sentiment through various social media channels, campaigns and marketing flows that ensure the delivery of high-quality impactful campaigns and projects through innovative concepts and design
- Guide and advise strategies and ensure execution of focused brand specific social media plans to raise Brand Awareness and perception
- Support, advise and guide brand managers to ensure the delivery of multiple social media projects from concept to design to meet brand specific objectives
**Financial**
- Collaboration and overall management and monitoring of social media budgets across brands (stock images, tools, content creation, social media innovation)
- Working with the budget parameters for to meet expenditure KPI's
- Delivering high quality strategies and execution within the deadline and times
- Analysis and optimization of ROI on Social Media interventions
- Negotiate competitive price structures and quotes with Contractors and Service providers
**Strategy**
- Develop, guide, and execute strategies, plan campaigns that ensures personal, authentic and relevant messaging to the right target market
- Consult with and advise brand managers on key placements and social media strategies
- Analyses of audience, reach, traffic, and engagement
- Making recommendation and execute on roadmaps for Social Media Management
- Educate and host learning sessions on channel and creative trend opportunities for brands.
**Consumer, Market Understanding**
- Delivering on Franchisee and Brand requirements
- Working as a team to deliver on work objectives, brand managers briefs and requirements
- Increased customer satisfaction - work closely with the social media response agents
