MFS Africa is a leading pan-African fintech company that operates the largest digital payments hub on the continent The MFS Africa Hub is connected to over 180 million mobile wallets in Africa offering unparalleled reach for mobile money operators banks money transfer operators corporates and a growing number of SMEs We power cross-border cross-platform payment services for partners across the continent We enable remittance and other payment services for partners serving the African diaspora globally MFS Africa recently acquired a fast-paced and dynamic company based in East Africa called Beyonic and is in the process of integrating it into the larger company Beyonic is a fintech startup founded in Uganda in 2013 and is focused on improving digital financial infrastructure services and access for enterprises operating in emerging market economies It connects enterprises to millions of base-of-the-pyramid consumers on mobile networks and banks in several African countries We are looking for a Strategy and Sales Support Manager who will support the Executive Vice President Beyonic EVP Beyonic to execute the Beyonic commercial strategy and deliver on commercial targets Duties and responsibilities Serve as a strategic adviser to the EVP Beyonic Identify and implement commercial best practices to support pivoting Beyonic to a truly SaaS product Undertake thorough revenue and margin analysis and provide SaaS pricing recommendations Track and report the performance of commercial metrics Maintain oversight of the Beyonic sales pipeline and the progress of key deals Provide deal support to the EVP Beyonic and the Beyonic Sales team as required including standardized sales collateral pitches pricing and contracting guidance Work closely with the Strategy Sales Support Director to ensure co-ordination of the wider commercial strategy Requirements Qualifications and Experience A relevant qualification in Commerce Finance or any other relevant field At least 5 years of experience in a commercial target driven role Comfortable putting together pitch decks client presentations and contracts Experience with CRM tools for communication management and reporting Experience working with a disbursed global team Relevant industry experience in financial services technology would be an added advantage Pan-African exposure experience and expertise Skills and competencies Highly analytical with the ability to analyse information and present to management in a meaningful way Solid interpersonal skills can work with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Proactive approach to problem solving Adaptable flexible and comfortable working in an environment that is constantly evolving Ability to work well under pressure and deliver work of a high quality Benefits We are highly innovative and were ranked by Fast Company as one of the most innovative companies in the world We work at the very cutting edge of fintech in Africa We solve relevant problems for Africa and the world We are building the MFS Africa Hub into a payment infrastructure designed to last 100 years We have a culture of caring and executing and a very diverse work environment with over 30 nationalities represented
