Valenture Institute is currently based in Cape Town and is a global private online high school offering an international curriculum recognised by the world s leading universities Our students experience a highly engaging inclusive and socially rich learning environment which is supported by expert teachers and mentors Our mission is to evolve education to think outside the classroom and integrate each students learning with the causes and challenges they care about Were dedicated to empowering a global student body of responsible citizens and equipping them to make the best of their collective and individual futures We are currently in Term 2 of our first intake of students including Junior High and International GCSE What is a Student Success Administrator Our Student Success Administrator will be responsible for Supporting the team with daily tasks and requirements by reviewing reports and assisting mentors in implementing weekly check-ins to keep our students on track Assisting in interdepartmental communication Assisting with assigning Asana projects tasks What will you be doing Data validation checks we rely on some nifty Google Sheets to track student behaviour Ultimately this data enables our team to identify common trends for individual students live session attendance subject preference performance extensions assignment submissions emotional observations faculty inputs Enabling Student Success Mentors to use the data you review and capture to help students thrive at Valenture Institute Scheduling Assignment Extensions whilst being aware of complex policies Preparing warnings to be sent for live session non-attendance and assignment non-submissions Conducting Module Checks this involves going through courses before they are released to ensure that their Zoom links and release dates are correct Send out bulk email communication as needed using email templates Requirements What skills are required for this role Detail-oriented Solutions driven Competent with G Suite Competent or familiar with Zoom Flexibility ad hoc tasks no set daily structure Comfortable with data analysis consolidation and capturing using Google Sheets Time management and prioritisation of key tasks Communication skills What would make you stand out Knowledge of Google Sheets basic formulas and pivot tables A background in psychology Experience in communication and customer care Experience in the EdTech field You would enjoy this role if You enjoy helping others You enjoy working as part of a collaborative team Youre passionate about the EdTech industry You have an interest in psychology You adjust well to change You enjoy troubleshooting You like working across departments and connecting teams If you would like to hear more about this role please send through your CV and we will be in touch with you in the next few days Benefits ICAS Employee Wellness Programme Family member discount for Valenture Institute Remote work Voluntary savings Programme
