Supply Chain / Materials Manager

Minimum requirements:
REPORTS TO Site General Manager - (Functional reporting to Head of Supply)
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
University degree in supply chain-related fields
7+ years of logistics, warehouse and supply chain management experience required
In-depth knowledge of supply chain management processes
Demonstrated knowledge of ERP / WMS / logistics systems and SW
Experience in manufacturing operations and international companies is preferred
Experience working with telecom and/or energy products is a merit
RESPONSIBILITIES AND GOALS FOR THE ROLE:
Responsible for product material flow inbound, onsite handling and outbound for the manufacturing site
Management of the materials team including Sourcing, Planning, Procurement, Logistics and Warehouse
Manage and coordinate goods movements across all points of supply chain including suppliers, freight services, customs agents, warehouse, production and customers
Establish strategic solutions to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness to meet business goals and objectives
TASKS AND RECURRING ACTIVITIES
Supervision of sourcing process ensuring prioritization based on the importance/impact to the company and compliance with company policies includingCoCs
Support supplier negotiations and issues resolution
Oversee import/export and other transactions are delivered according to legal and trade compliance specifications
Supervision of shipment and customs related documentation preparation and approval flows for goods inbound and outbound
Drive cost-effective and efficient freight services engagement and coordination
Supervise warehouse management procedures compliance including cycle counts and stocktaking to achieve >
99.9% accuracy
Supervision of material and production planning procedures to deliver efficient material and finished goods processing
Supervision of procurement procedures to ensure alignment with material planning and company policies and procedures
Planning and monitoring the teams capacity to deliver services ensuring the production plan requirements and customer demands are delivered on time
Ensure data accuracy and documents filing is maintained across all functions
Working with other departments to harmonize Materials Management objectives and procedures with other functions and Co's integrated management systems
Manage deliverables agreed to, providing management with regular updates, identifying issues, and barriers, and solutions
Support ISO, customer, and other related audit procedures
