Job Purpose:
To develop and subsequently oversee the Umbiflow Production process, including sourcing, assembly, testing, configuration management and product documentation flow
Key Performance Areas:
Sourcing and Procurement:
Identify suppliers for sourcing of Umbiflow product components and test equipment in accordance with company Procurement policy and procedure
Prepare procurement plan and instruct the procurement officer accordingly
Expedite the supply of components from suppliers and perform incoming inspection of procured components
Train relevant company Incoming Inspection officers regarding inspection requirements and procedures Umbiflow Industrialization
Develop company's production Work instructions, procedures, checklists etc.
Develop Umbiflow Quality Plan
Realization of Umbiflow production environment and related infrastructure Umbiflow product preparation, assembly and testing
Preparation of components and sub-assemblies according to the Production Work Instructions and procedures
Perform proficient soldering joints where soldering may be required to execute tasks
Responsible for the accurate and timely processing and completion of the corresponding Umbiflow Product files, software back-ups and final electronic back-ups
Perform fault finding of malfunctioning components and units as and when they occur, liaising with the relevant experts and design authorities in order to determine root causes, correction, and corrective actions Final inspection and packing
Prepare the Umbiflow products and documentation for final Inspection.
Ensure that all items are included in the packing list and assist in the safe and effective packing of the units.
**Inherent Requirements**
Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent required
National Technical Certificates / BTech in Instrumentation, Electronics or equivalent
Experience in medical devices and or Medical Imaging and Radiography field will be beneficial
Ability to prepare and implement processes complying to general medical requirements of technical and administrative standards and regulations
Knowledge of:
Technology used for the manufacture of electronic products, operation of processes, delivery of services, and related documentation
Significance of deviations found in product performance
Defects and related fault-finding initiatives that may occur during product realization.
Equipment, procedures and hazards in an electronic production environment
