Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor (Atlantis)

Supervise the Warehouse &
Distribution operationsand process according to safety and quality standards to achieve the customer service level performance standards and sales deadlines.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage warehouse activities to ensure delivery according to customer service level performance standards and sales deadlines
- Identify and lead the implementation of process improvement initiatives, using established project management techniques, to improve quality, productivity, efficiency and reduce costs
- Managing transporter budgets
- Managing staff head count optimization
- Review all warehousing &
distribution cost and do benchmarking analysis ‘on an annual basis
- Manage transporters &
monitor transporter rates and confirm correct rates are being used
- Ensure that staff are trained, equipped and motivated through effective staff management processes
- Maintain housekeeping, safety and food safety requirements.
- Diploma in Operations Management, Logistics &
Supply Chain Management, or similar
- CSCP or CPIM is desired
- 5 years warehouse experience is essential
- Proven quality control, despatch &
stock control experience
- Knowledge of the OHS Act &
of the BCEA
- Results focused

- Good communication skills
- Excellent planning, prioritising &
problem skills.
